All ceramic veneers and laminates are made up of reinforced glass ceramics or lithium disilicates. CAD CAM milling machines can help generate the most convenient, tooth colored, biocomapatable non metallic and other affordable Prosthodontics solution to patients. CAD/CAM dentistry makes use of subtractive processes and other procedures to produce physical instances from 3D models.

CAD/CAM dentistry process

After damaged or decayed areas of the tooth are corrected by the dentist, a scan will be taken for the prepared tooth and surrounding teeth. This image is termed as a digital impression and draws the data into the system. Then proprietary software creates a replacement part for the missing areas of the tooth, creating a virtual restoration.

This process is called reverse engineering. The software then transmits the virtual data to a milling machine where the replacement part is shaped to a solid block or ceramic resin. The restoration is adjusted in the patient’s mouth and cemented in place.

With CAD/CAM milling machine, patients can experience the world-class treatments for their dental problems.
